FAQ

Q: Do you have a walk-in shop?
A: Not at the moment. Right now, Alfaris Perfumes operates fully online. Unfortunately, the creations are not open to the public just yet, but Insha Allah a physical space will be available in the future.

Q: How can I purchase or try the scent before buying a full bottle?
A: I understand completely — fragrances are personal, and no one wants to buy blindly. That’s why I offer sample-size attar bottles for many of my products. You can order a small sample first, try it on yourself, and then decide if you’d like the larger bottle.

Q: Are your attars pure?
A: Many people ask this. The word “pure” can mean different things — some people mean 100% natural ingredients, while others mean high-quality and long-lasting.

  • All my attars are carefully chosen and offered under the Alfaris Perfumes quality standard.

  • Some are crafted with natural ingredients, some with synthetic, and some with a blend of both. This is normal in perfumery, as even high-end houses use a mix.

  • What truly matters is that the fragrance is well-made, long-lasting, and smells beautiful. That’s exactly what I focus on delivering.

(Fact: Natural oud is extremely rare and expensive, so most perfumes worldwide use blends of natural and synthetic notes. What customers usually mean when they say “pure” is simply that they want something high quality and not cheap imitations.)

Q: Is your business Shariah-compliant?
A: Yes — this business operates in line with Shariah principles. Sales are concluded once you receive the product, not just when you place the order. For some perfumes (such as certain Dubai imports), delivery may take a little longer since they are specially ordered. Please also read the footer on every page, where I’ve shared more information about this.

Q: What is your return policy?
A: I want you to be happy with your purchase. Yes, I do accept returns. For any queries, please reach out to me directly on email or WhatsApp, and I’ll assist you.

Q: How long do the attars last?
A: Longevity depends on many things — your skin type, the specific fragrance, and even how you apply it. But generally:

  • Because attars are oil-based, they last longer than most alcohol-based perfumes.

  • On clothing, they may last one to two days (sometimes more).

  • On skin, they can last several hours to many hours depending on your body chemistry.
For best results, apply on pulse points and avoid rubbing the fragrance in.

Q: Do you offer corporate gifting?
A: Yes, I do! If you’d like perfumes or attars as gifts for a wedding, event, or corporate order, please reach out on WhatsApp or email. Kindly plan ahead — since I work independently, preparing custom orders requires some time.

Q: Are you open to selling other people’s products on your site?
A: Yes, I am open to collaborations with others in a similar niche (for example, Islamic lifestyle products like kurtas, prayer mats, or accessories). If you’d like to discuss, please email me at [alfarisperfumes25@gmail.com].
